More on the Buderim War Memorial Community Association
“The BWMCA was founded in 1945 to create a living memorial to the wartime sacrifice of the service men and women of the WW11, to embrace the freedoms for which men and women in the armed services have fought and died to defend on our behalf and maintain the spirit of community that characterised the area during the war years,” Mr Richardson said.
“Today it is a vibrant community organisation with over 240 members and works closely with over 70 other local affiliate community organisations.
“The BWMCA is part of what makes Buderim such a very special place, and I think the organisation’s founders would be proud of what we continue to offer the community.”
